Antiscalants

INCI: 2,2′,2»,2»’-(Ethane-1,2-diyldinitrilo) tetraacetic acid

EDTA 4Na

Chelating agent that can bind with Mg2+, Ca2+, Mn2+, Fe2+ and other divalent metal ions.

INCI: bis [2-[bis (fosfonometil) amino] etil] amino] metilfosfónico hepta sodium

DTPMP Na7

It is used as a scale inhibitor and is an efficient chelating agent. Additionally, it is an excellent inhibitor of BaSO4 scaling. It is widely used in cooling water treatment.

INCI: Methylglycine N,N-diacetic acid, Trisodium Salt

MGDA Na3

Green chelating agent for metal ions. It can be used across a wide pH range and create a synergistic effect with biocides. Additionally, it can serve as a substitute for phosphonate salts, NTA, EDTA, citrate, and other chelating agents.

INCI: (Z)-but-2-enedioic acid

HPMA 48%

Non-toxic polymer, water-soluble, high chemical and thermal stability, decomposition temperature above 330 ℃. It has a threshold effect at high temperatures (350 ℃) and high pH levels (8.3), suitable for use in alkaline water systems. It effectively inhibits carbonate and phosphate scaling at a temperature of 300 ℃ with an effective time of up to 100 hours. Due to its good scale inhibition properties and high temperature tolerance, it is widely used in instant steam vaporization desalination plants, low-pressure boilers, steam locomotives, crude oil evaporation, oil pipelines, and industrial cold water circulation systems. It also has a good corrosion inhibition effect when used in conjunction with zinc salt.

INCI: 2-Propenoic acid

PCA 50%

Good dispersing property for calcium carbonate and calcium phosphate scales in cold water circulation systems. It effectively inhibits barium sulfate, strontium sulfate, and silica scaling. Additionally, it exhibits advantages in terms of thermal stability and strong chlorine tolerance. It performs better than acrylic products in paper mills, the ceramic industry, etc. It can also be used to disperse scales in boilers.

INCI: (1-hydroxyethylidene)-1,1-diphosphonic acid

Dequest 2010/HEDP 60%

It is an organophosphoric acid corrosion inhibitor. It can chelate with Fe, Cu, and Zn ions to form stable chelating compounds. It can dissolve oxidized materials on the surfaces of these metals. It shows excellent scale and corrosion inhibition effects at a temperature of 250 ℃. It also has good chemical stability under high pH conditions, is difficult to hydrolyze, and decompose under normal light and heat conditions. Its tolerance to acid/alkali oxidation and chlorine is better than that of other organophosphoric acids (salt).

INCI: 2-Phosphonobutane -1,2,4-Tricarboxylic Acid

PBTC al 50%

Material with low phosphorus content; it has structural characteristics of both phosphoric acid and the carboxylic acid group, which allow for excellent scale and corrosion inhibition properties. Its anti-scaling property at high temperatures is much better than other organophosphonates. It can improve the solubility of zinc salt, has good chlorine oxidation tolerance and exhibits good synergistic effects with other scale inhibitors.

INCI: Amino Trimethylene Phosphonic Acid

ATMP al 60%

It has excellent chelation capabilities, with a low threshold for inhibition and distortion of the lattice network. Thus, it can prevent the formation of scale, particularly calcium carbonate in water systems. It has good chemical stability and is difficult to hydrolyze. At high concentrations, it provides good corrosion inhibition.

INCI: Carboxylate-Sulfonate-Nonion Terpolymer

KR 3100

It is a good scale inhibitor and dispersant for water treatment, with good inhibition for anhydrous or hydrated ferric oxide. Being fully organic, it can also be used as a stabilizer for corrosion inhibitors in phosphates and phosphonic salts.

INCI: Carboxylate-Sulfonate Copolymer

KR 5000

It is a high-performance dispersant and scale inhibitor. It effectively inhibits silica and magnesium silicate when used in boilers and recirculating cooling systems. It is a superior inhibitor for phosphate scale and for anhydrous or hydrated ferric oxide. Acting as a rust inhibitor, it can also be used in systems such as industrial RO, swimming pools, fountains, etc.

Antiscalants are substances designed to prevent or reduce the formation of scale in water systems. Scale refers to the gradual deposit of minerals, such as calcium and magnesium, that accumulate on the internal surfaces of pipes, heat exchangers, and other components of water systems.
